Fr Werenfried - A Life

Almost a legend in the modern Catholic Church, Fr Werenfried van Straaten was known and loved throughout the world thanks to his powerful message of forgiveness and love, and its fulfilment in the work of his charity, Aid to the Church in Need. Although known to generations as "the Bacon Priest" because of his practical approach to fundraising, Fr Werenfried never neglected the spiritual hunger of the poor and dispossessed.
