Fr. Pacwa uncovers St Paul's understanding of Confirmation implicit in his ministry. Although not referenced overtly, Confirmation was present in the early Church dating from the time of the book of Acts. The reception of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands was practiced by St. Paul and the other apostles, and would eventually develop into what we now know as the Sacrament of Confirmation.
