The Catholic Church teaches that the Word of God consists of not just Sacred Scripture but also Sacred Tradition. This believe is often criticised as untenable by others who do not hold to Catholic teaching. In this talk, Deacon Sherman Kuek explains how Sacred Scripture retains its authority only when Sacred Tradition is accorded its rightful place. He also explains historically how it is that the Catholic Bible has more Old Testament books than the Protestant Bible.
