The Spirit of Hiawatha

To restore peace and to unify his people, the great leader of the Iroquois, Hiawatha, brought the Iroquois tribes together in a federation. They named it the "League of Five Nations". Hiawatha, a peacemaker ahead of his time, inspired many legends as he prepared the way for the Gospel to spread in North America. An engaging, colourful story that sets the scene for the missionary work of the heroic Jesuits of the 17th century!
