Friendly Gables

In this third book, featuring Hilda Van Stockum's Mitchell family, the family grows with the birth of twins, requiring the services of a nurse, Miss Thorpe, who is in for a few surprises during her stay. The continuing adventures of the six Mitchell children now living at Friendly Gables, their house in the Montreal suburbs, as they welcome the twin brothers, make new friends, and try, often unsuccefully, to keep out of mischief.
